'Diary of Anne Frank' helps with study
Editor:
Sebring Middle School's faculty and eighth-grade students would like to thank Highlands Little Theatre's cast and crew for providing us with the opportunity to atttend a performance of "The Diary of Anne Frank."
Our students studied the Holocaust as well as the play, so to see the drama performed was a wonderful way to culminate that unit of study.
To director Allan Grosman and his crew, we were grateful for this experience. Since Mr. Grosman's own parents were Holocaust survivors, there was a special poignancy in the actors' portrayal of the events.
We thank HLT for providing us with the historical depiction of such a sad time in history. It's our hope that through education such tragic events will not be repeated.
Finally, we want to thank our school's angel and staff member, Kristin Taylor, who played Mrs. Frank in the play. Her initiative and efforts made this is a reality for 250 students.
